We support you with all questions regarding the implementation of ITIL!

We at EVONET follow a pragmatic approach to ITIL introduction and implementation, since mapping ITIL processes according to pure ITIL doctrine is very complex and time-consuming, especially for medium-sized companies and organizations.

ITIL-4 meanwhile talks about “practices”, but 34 practices quickly lead even larger organizations to their limits.

From our point of view, ITIL processes/practices should be implemented to a defined extent in line with the size of the company where it can be proven that it will bring your company forward. This also includes a clear consideration and evaluation of the extent to which your employees or your organization will also live these processes/practices or can implement them parallel to the daily business and the required skills.

With “ITIL Lite”, for example, there are already corresponding ideas and guidelines.

The selection of the appropriate tool is also important; the use of a comprehensive ITSM/ESM system with maximum ITIL conformity is usually unavoidable.

Independent of the pure ITIL doctrine, we see the following essential components based on our experience, which should definitely be considered in every ITIL concept.

Please understand this as a rough framework based on our experience and not as a complete enumeration according to ITIL:

  • Management support (given yes/no, costs for ITIL budgeted/released, sustainability available, support for any necessary organizational adjustments given? etc.)
  • Process definition and design (who does what, how, when and why?)
  • “4 eyes principle”, (who does what, how, when and why?)
  • Risk minimization, especially in connection with IT security
  • Cost transparency or definition of cost limits.

We are happy to support you from consulting to the realization of ITIL at a fixed price.

We at EVONET have been supporting companies and organizations in the introduction and implementation of ISO and ITIL for 15 years.
